Who are we?
Challenging Environments Consortium (CEC) is the parent company of six international brands; Critical Operations Group, Physical Risk Solutions, Astute Defence, Belstone Dart International, Eagle Global Logistics Group, and Armstrong Aviation.
Our focus is to harness the best of these companies to provide our clients with the necessary strategy, coordination and value to deliver the required outcomes when standing still is not an option.
Individually and collectively, we have the scale, presence and expertise to navigate projects from inception to mobilization and beyond.
With offices in the Middle East, US, Africa and Europe, and strategic partnerships throughout the Gulf region, CEC’s management have spent decades providing exemplary services in some of the harshest operating environments. It is this, on-the-ground operational and planning experience across a vast and diverse portfolio that allows excellence in all areas of the services we provide. Our Story
Founded in 2023 by partners and experts in the field, Challenging Environments Consortium (CEC) was born out of the need to utilize more than one company to achieve a successful outcome. Hence our mantra, ‘ When The Power Of One Is Not Enough’
In 2012 our first company, Physical Risk Solutions, began operations on the Horn of Africa. This was followed in 2014 with the inception of Critical Operations Group. Since these early beginnings, we have steadily added to the CEC Group and formed several globally strategic partnerships that have enabled us to expand our footprint and add significant capability and contingency options for our clients.
We lead by example, operate in an ethical manner, and to full compliance that gives our clients confidence and the ability to concentrate on their own aims and objectives.
